  Under the headline  WORLD RELIGIONS - UNIVERSAL PEACE - GLOBAL ETHIC
  the Malaysian Interfaith Network together with the German Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation and the German Global
  Ethic Foundation setup an exhibition earlier this year which inspired me to publish a summary of it on our website.

  The Miami Green Resort consists of 557 condominiums and their owners come from different continents, bearing
  passports issued in more than a dozen of different countries. By that our community is truly a multinational and
  multicultural one, which logically means also that many of us live or follow a different philosophy. Despite of that
  and well acknowledging the differences in our individual approach to life, we may have more in common...

  The message of the above exhibition for example was/is that all religions and belief systems have this in common:
        Treat others as you would like to be treated (i.e. the so-called Golden Rule);
        Every human being must be treated humanely;
        Have respect for life;
        Deal honestly and fairly;
        Speak and act truthfully;
        Respect and love one another and be responsible for your partner's happiness.

  One of the perceptions I won from our AGM in May 2006 was that many neighbours acknowledged the interest
  in more social activities - the reason why we spontaniously founded a "social activities sub-committee" which
  hopefully will come into life soon...? - it encourages to believe also one thing that

        ...Miami Green is on the tracks to become a neighbourhood of a special kind,
  where the acknowledgement of differences simultaneously has created an
  environment of tolerance, respect and understanding ...let's make it happen!!
                                                                    Sincerely,
                                                             Jens kehrhahn

  The Malaysian Interfaith Network was established in order
  ●   to provide a platform of communication for the various interfaith organizations, initiatives and
      actions in Malaysia [like for example The Taiping Peace Initiative : www.everlastingpeace.net ]
  ●   to promote the common values shared by all faiths - and
  ●   to foster interfaith understanding and co-operation

  On 11th September 2006, once I had finished this webpage, I sent an email to Dato' Dr. Fazal informing him
  about this page and asked him also for his consent for this publication. Wthin hours I got his kind responds...
  "Dear friend, its a joy seeing the messages of the global ethic being shared and hope more will will be inspired
  by your initiative. ...keep up the wonderful work in multiplying good works like this!   Salams, Anwar Fazal"
